Meet Our Team
Martin Devincenti
Owner
Martin comes from a family of proud contractors. Three of his four brothers are in the profession and gave Martin his early training. His father is also a registered architect and received his master's degree in urban planning. Following in his father's footsteps, Martin began studying architecture and drafting at Santa Monica College. Martin then started an internship at Keeva J. Kekst Architects in Los Angeles but soon realized that entrepreneurship was his true passion. Starting from the ground up, he worked as a carpenter and painter on many important projects in the West LA area including the personal home of world-renowned architect, Frank Gehry. After spending several years working in the Los Angeles area, Martin decided to move back home to the DC Metro area to be close to his family and start Benchmark in 1995. In 2006, He moved to West Boynton Beach to start our second location. He also became a leader in local painters' organizations and is the past president of both the Washington Metro chapter and the Palm Beach County chapter of the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA). Martin is a proud father of two children and avid fitness and health enthusiast.
Emily Richards
General Manager
Emily started working for Benchmark back in 2017 and has been with the company for the past 5 years. When she first stared she did not know it would impact her life for the better. She was new to the working field and had no idea what she wanted to do. Emily is the youngest, but she feels like she fits perfectly and learned a lot over the years to get where she is today. Emily loves her cats, and enjoys watching movies.
Eder Olortegui
Project Manager
Eder joined the Benchmark team this year, 2022. His interest in the field first started when he was in high school, his dad was a GC and would take him to work on the weekends. Eder joined the Marines at an early age, when his contract was up, he decided to return home and continue where he left off. He has a ton of background information regarding paint from working at Benjamin Moore. We are very happy to have him be part of our team and work his way up over the year to join our sales team.
Blake Rudden
Sales Estimator
Blake has been a proud team member of Benchmark since 2016. He first started in our Maryland branch as an office assistant answering phones and filing paperwork. After a year, he was trained and put on the sales team. Over the years, Blake proudly served Benchmark’s client’s in Maryland until he moved to Florida in 2021 where he felt he could succeed even more. Being surrounded by experts at Benchmark, Blake strives to learn all he can about the industry. Benchmark has changed Blake’s life for the better and he couldn’t be happier to work with such a great group of people.
Rodrigo Arrendondo
Sales Estimator
Rodrigo has been working with Benchmark since 2017. He started with Benchmark first as a painter and then got promoted to the sales team. Rodrigo has excellent carpentry skills and knowledge from his previous job as a carpentry manager for a cabinet company. He is very happy to be working with Benchmark and be part of the growing successful company.
